1986 Daytona 500 Lone Star Peterbilt sponsored Thunderbird driven by Mark Martin. Basically box stock, I closed up the rear of the front wheel openings for more of a speedway look, and added a piece of .040 evergreen under the front bumper to give it a flatter and lower look. Wetworks decals and Tamiya paint. The real car is a personal photo I took during his qualifying run for the 500. Thanks for looking

Mark was one of my favorite drivers. Sure do miss him, Rusty, the Allisons and a few others. That is a very good looking build, mighty fine job.
Very nicely done!!!
:) One of my favorites too, but I do not remember this car. I have been to the museum though, and really enjoyed it.
Excellent job as always, Mark. Paint, decals, stance all top notch. Looks just like the photo.
Very sweet, Mark.
Excellent detailing.
Yes, Double M was a great racer and person.
Always a favorite.
Very slick looking model, Mark! Two thumbs up..
