This is also a Polar Lights kit and I am using the frame, body, motor, interior floor, dash ,firewall, and body from the kit. Rear suspension is the NASCAR long truck arm with a Ford 9" rear end. Rear seats and front inner fenders removed. Roll cage from the stash. PPP tires and wheels. I would like to use the factory red color, this kits are painted, not molded in color. We'll see how that works out after removing the windshield wipers and chrome trim. Mocked up on wheels, I think that looks pretty good.

Very nice Slim, Keep us posted on your progress.

Man that reminds me of a '64 Lemans that ran in the late models around here years ago. There were a lot of Malibus running in that class, and they were hard to beat, but that little poncho got it done more than a few time. I alway rooted for the Lemans just because it was different. Oh, they were running some convertibles in that class also.

Oh yeah! That is way cool. Is that a die cast body?

Thanks for the comment Fordcuy, the body is plastic.
Moving along on the chassis, motor will be next, then body paint.

I know this one will turn out as nice as your other cars, Slim. It's good to see your builds again!
That is coming along great Slim. Can't wait to see the finished product. I've watched your builds on the other forum and I really liked the Etchie Biertrzer build. By he way I watched him race at Capitol Speedway on Oregon and he was always strong and hard to beat. There were always some serious wares between Etchie, Billy Johnson (one of my favorites), Johnny Reimers, Joe Jones, Fuzzy Fasbender, I could go on but those were some really exciting races.
