Ed K. wouldn't sell me his trailer kit, so I had to scratch out this one. I tried for one like the first of the 2 wheelers that carried late models. Mid 1960s I suspect.
I got a close length and width down on a sheet of paper, and glued up a platform and winged it from there. I took a rear end/axle with springs, from my junkyard, and cut the differential out. Then glued it in, and ad-libbed the bracing. I got a tow bar from somewhere, and the rear fenders from a '32 Ford.
It's good enough for me. Click thumbs for larger views.

Could have fooled me! I would have thought it was store bought.
That's a nice trailer John, I like it.
It's much nicer than the real ones back in the day. There was some very crude trailers used to haul race cars.
Bob
Have a question here, though. Is the sponsor info legible to y'all ? Not on this computer, but it was ok on my original post of the car. Could be this computer, or my poor photography.

Nice looking trailer!!
And you just had to blame me for not selling me that trailer!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) ;) ::)
But then....
maybe you would not have liked my asking price..... ;) ::) ::) ::) ;D ;D
We have known each other a long time. Was just messing with you on the trailer, Ed. However I didn't spend a cent on it.
That's why I couldn't resist coming back at ya'!! We both know that it is all in the fun of being here.... ;) ;D
It made me laugh when I saw your post.....
Makes a great "story" LOL
Looks really good to me. It may be "crude" but it gets the job done. I remember one from the OKC fairgrounds that was made of black water pipe and had the axle welded to the trailer runners. I wouldn't haul my lawnmower on that one, but he proudly hauled his open-wheel modified on it. Whatever it takes to get there, doesn't matter how it looks.
Thanks, guys, for the interest and comments.
Very cool looking trailer John. Beautiful job!
Rick :)
Thanks to all.
Nice!
Thanks Slim.
That's a really neat little trailer, John!!! You still have some great modeling skills going on, my friend!!! Fantastic job!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🏁🏁🏁
Great job on the trailer, John.
I have a big bag of "sprue frames".
Good trailer building stuff if you need any.......
