I'm not sure how close you will end up being to Hurricane Ida or if things have already took a turn for the worse weather wise in your part of Mississippi. Once the dust has settled and powered is restored, if you should loose it, get back with us.
:) Due here sometime tomorrow, and downgraded somewhat. Lotta rain- hoping we don't lose power.
I'll check in. Hoping to make Anne's physical therapy appointment.
Thanks for your concern.
Be safe down there John!
Tb
:) We are ok. Mostly rain and a strong breeze. It's pretty well over here.
We live at a retirement home with a 3 story building that also has 6 duplexes a short distance apart.
We are fortunate to live in one of them. Our power has not gone out, but the main building is running on generators which cover the most essential areas. The apartments are partially dark. The food service and personal care areas are normal.
But everyone is in good shape, and we are blessed. New Orleans is a mess. We are 170 or so miles north of them. Some damage between here and there.
All of Baptist Health Care clinics were closed so we did not make Anne's appointment. We stayed off the roads.
Thanks for your concern.
That's certainly good news. Hope all stays well for you!!!
Rett
:) Thanks, Rett. Much appreciated.
Have you and Ann in my thoughts, please stay safe.
Al
:) Thanks, Al. We are fine. It has gone.
....Its great to hear that you made it thru o.k Sounds like this aint your first rodeo as far as these particular type of storms go ;)
:) Yes. Katrina - 2005. We were without power for 4 days, and gasoline for 8 days.
But we made it and others suffered more.
