Title: Jabe Thomas racecar hauler (real one!)
Post by: Michael F on August 26, 2022, 04:05:29 PM
A few month ago i read a story on Jabe ThomasĀ“ racecar hauler, wich it was for sale.

Guess what i saw last Sunday at a raceday at my local track in Venray, Netherlands.

It carries a late model V8 oval track car.

First i thought it is a replica, then i found this pic at the web:

Found a nice souvenir for my collection in the vendor row:

Title: New NASCAR Haulers

Recently purchased, through a Model Railroad Hobby Shop, a Petty Enterprises STP Hauler and a Dale Earnhardt Wrangler hauler, both in 1 / 87th ( HO ) scale by Brekina. Paint & details are quite accurate for 1981 / '82 era, though the Earnhardt Hauler has the same Kenworth COE Sleeper as the Petty hauler. I recall Osterland Racing was using a White COE at this time. These kits are NOT cheap, ( retail priced at $49.99 each ), but they are accurate representations of early 1980's NASCAR haulers.
