This is Ross Chastain's first cup win car. He is the teammate to Daniel Suarez whose car I posted here earlier. They both drive for Trackhouse Racing and they both got their first cup wins on road courses last year. Suarez won at Sonoma and Chastain won at COTA in Austin, Texas. Finally finished this one. Took 94 hours. the only paint on the body is where I fixed the left roof strip, I polished the raw body, futured it, then decaled it, then re-futured it. I added dash panel, switch plate, wiper blade and turned the superspeedway rear spoiler into a 4 inch spoiler. Probably my last nextgen build. Just too frustrating. I also lost one of the decals. see if you can find where it was supposed to go on the model. I will make one when I make the decals for my next build.

Great work as usual Mark. Ross is my favorite driver. After what he did at Martinsville a couple of years ago, he captured my imagination.
Nice build Mark - the watermelon just adds to it. Went on a seek and find and could not find what decal was missing. I am working on my first nexgen build currently. Trying to figure out all the nuances of this kit before starting more.

Not crazy about the new gen cars, but you've done a nice build. Looks great! Now let's have a slice of that melon. Lol.
Donato, you really should tune into the race this Sunday just for a little bit at the end to see if Ross is winning and if he does, hang around for the Melon smashing party. It's must see T.V. If a Hendrick or Gibbs car is winning just turn the channel back to where you were if your even watching T.V. There will be nothing to see worth watching, especially if Yoda in the 5 car is winning. Don't waste your time.
