Title: Jim Paschals 65 Chevy
Post by: MarkJ on June 19, 2024, 12:24:54 PM
Now that we have a Dark side Nascar section here I decided to repost some of my builds here. I've posted it in Short track before but that was a long time ago.

Those 65 Chevy's made good looking stock car racers. I do remember Jim Paschal, winner of the 1967 World 600.

Agree with re-posting models that may never have been seen by current board members. I have about 100 more
I can add to the various forums !!!!

That's a great-looking build Mark. Red seems to be the color of the month. Nice job.

Back in the day, with a few exceptions, red & white were by far the two most popular colors.
Lighting at the local short tracks was so poor that if cars were not painted white they were hard to see.
Could get cold Saturday nights in December . Was glad when the track would run Sunday afternoons. Could see the action so much better, and it was more of a "family" atmosphere in the daylight.

thanks, Donato and Yes, Hawk. I think I will post a model a day that I have already posted here years ago just to help the site get more active. Looking forward to seeing your 100 or more builds.
