I built this one about 8-10 years ago. I used the 64 Lindberg #43 Petty Plymouth kit. The paint and clear is all Tamiya. The decals are Powerslide. The wheels and tires are from PPP. I built the exhaust dumps from aluminum tubing. It is built as a curbside model so the hood is glued shut since I used the engine for another project. Thanks for looking.

That is a great looking Plymouth! Thanks for letting us have a look.
Another Awesome build Catpack. I remember following the USAC stock cars back in the sixty's as much as I could but really couldn't find much back then even about NASCAR. Motor Trend magazine was about the only place I could ever find anything in print and on t.v. it was ABC Wide World of Sports and CBS Sports Spectacular, and it was always weeks after the events occurred. Luckily A.J. Foyt lived in Houston and the local Houston papers like the Chronicle and the Post would have articles about whatever he was doing with really grainy black and white photos. I remember going to the old Texas World Speedway, a cloan of Michigan International Speedway, back in the seventy's and they had an Indy Car and stock car double header once. I'm pretty sure Norm Nelson was in the stock car race. Foyt had a car in both events. Can't remember who won either one of them but it was pretty cool to watch and soak up some live action.
Nice build. Good job.
:) Another nice one.
At 84 I don't waste time any more on engines unless they are going to show.
Nice Plymouth 8) 8)
Nice U.S.A.C. build.
Thanks for the comments guys!
