Title: Monza late model wip
Post by: Tom Birky on September 10, 2024, 10:02:14 PM
Still tinkering with this Monza/Vega. Scrapped the old chassis and started over with the AMT Ford chassis. I realized the cage is a little shorter than the gm chassis and fits my body a little better. Ron Coon 4 link for the rear axle let me ditch the nascar
 truck arms. Thx for looking!

Thanks for posting this update Tom. I was wondering what happened to this build.

Going to be one wicked racer. Your inspiration photo must be quite old, John Deery is still selling Datsuns. That changed to Nissan around 1980. Where did you source that body?

Thanks for all the nice comments guys. Rick, you're right, this c was 1980. The body started as the amt Vega wagon funnycar.
