I believe this was the car Junior used in the 1957 Southern 500 but I'm not sure. It might have been 1958. The exhausts came out of the tailights.

Thanks guys. I found some ref pics back when I needed some for the Fireball Roberts 57 Chevy that competed in the 1958 Southern 500 so that is where this car competed. They were ref photos taken by Life Magazine back in 1958, so they were actually pretty good. When I saw Juniors Ford in the photos, I knew I had to build it. I don't know where the color picture came from but it wasn't from the Life Magazine article.

Nice job on the paint scheme. It looks a little tricky. And nice job on the entire model!

Thanks, Steve and John. Yes, It's not one of his more known rides from the past. I'm not sure if he drove this car before or after his incarceration for moonshining.

Very nice work Mark! I've been wanting to build this one for a while and I have everything I need to build it,but I have way too many projects to finish to start it
