...as it appears in the movie "Greased Lightning".

This was one of my very first stockcar models i´ve built almost 30 years ago.

That is a great looking replica model, especially with it being thirty years old! Thank you for sharing it.

Have some 20 plus year old models I plan to post.

Actually met Wendell. Mid 60's at the local Jacksonville Speedway.
The same track were he won his only Grand National race.
He brought his Grand National car (65 Ford, orange #34).Was a special
event night 100 lap race. He finished fifth against the more powerful late models.
He came to the track alone and did all the work himself.
Said his old Dodge tow truck broke down on the way to Florida and
made him a little late.
