Hay y'all, i have ordered a resin wedge late model body from Mike's and a set of Jeff Purvis decals from Polecat.
Problem is that it doesn't have a chassis and Mike doesn't sell one.
Anyone have a lead on a chassis? Printed, resin, whatever.
Thanks.
Not necessarily a dirt chassis, but have you considered the Revell ASA chassis? I've seen them used for dirt track cars.
You can modify almost any of the NASCAR kits to work under the wedge bodies. One of the members on here, David Bogard, did some dirt cars using these chassis. Here is a link to his Fotki page https://public.fotki.com/DKBogard/bdr-dirt-late-model/ (https://public.fotki.com/DKBogard/bdr-dirt-late-model/)
I have used both and liked the out come

I have an ASA kit i am going to work on soon, i may see if it's going to fit under it and line up. Those ASA kits are kinda pricey these days though to use as a donor.
If you're on Facebook, check out Manley's Model Car Shop. He's got kits for dirt late models, Modifieds booth dirt and asphalt. He could probably help you with a chassis. Just join and PM.

Thanks. I'm not on Facebook but my wife is.
a1raceworks.com is a website under construction at the moment; which means you can look but not buy yet. Anyways, there are a number of 3d chassis listed. Take a look!

I took a look, nice stuff. I reached out and asked if i could buy everything but the body, she got back to me and said that would be fine. Asked about Paypal, told me that they are currently waiting for a business license of some sort so i could send a money order or wait... i opted to wait. Very quick response. Just hope that what they are making fits under the body i have.
