Title: Painting tires
Post by: jh63fan on February 15, 2025, 08:01:41 PM
I never have messed with 3D printed or resin tires before, until now. What do you paint them with color wise and brand. I intend to use decals for the lettering.   Thanks

Does the Tamiya rubber black come in a spray can? I don't have an air brush.

...I have been using rubber Black brushed on tires from a bottle as well as on engine belts and hoses with great results.  I first apply a thin coat of a either matte or flat Black then the rubber Black.  It can also be used to  high light the rubber strips found on doors, trunk lids and window seals if visible on the build.
