Title: "Wild" Willie Carter Jacksonville
Post by: HAWK22 on February 18, 2025, 02:34:02 PM
Very few new posts on the so Though I would add this one from the past.
Working on some new stuff but its been so cold here in Northern Virginia
for painting.

The home in the background kind of speaks for the simple
life all back in 1960.
"Wild" Willie Carter.
Could have gone far in racing but started a family at a young age
and couldn't afford to leave his day job for a chance at racing fame.

This is the Murray Hill theater on Edgewood Ave in Jacksonville. When I was a kid
would walk to this theater ever Saturday and see a triple fearure. Popcorn was 10 cents.
Milk Duds were .15 cents. Admission was .25 cents.
I checked this out on Google Earth. Looks the same as it did way back when...

I really like this one. Great job on the paint and decals.

The winter does put a stop on spray painting for me too. I try to have painted body's done ahead of time to last me.
