This is a replica build of the #46 driven by Pee Wee Pobletts in 1962, at Williams Grove and Lincoln speedways in Pa.
The car had a Pontiac hood ornament and the Indian face lit up when racing. This car raced on dirt tracks and had a glass windshield. During the early sixties several cars ran windshields, but by late 1962 they were all replaced with screen.
I would like to thank the following people for providing the components to accomplish this build.
Greg Holland for providing the Pontiac hood ornament. This was designed and printed on a 3-D printer.
Big Donkey resin for the two resin body's used for this build. Also the tires, wheels and quick change rear.
Polecat decals.
This was a challenging build but it was fun.

Bob
:) WOW. Go for it, Peewee.
Awesome build Bob!
Rich
Outstanding replica build. Does the Indian head light up? ::)
Man, ya did it again!!! Where did you come up with the Indian Head ornament? Like the hood hinge, or latch, nice detail.
Rett
This turned out GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!
Great replica!!
Great job Bob. You sure nailed the look and sit on this replica. Looking at your different angle shots gave me that neat feeling I use to get when walking in the pits back in the 60s...
Too answer a couple questions. No, the hood ornament on the model don't light up.
The hood ornament was designed and printed on a 3-D printer by Greg Holland. VSRN on this site.
Bob
Thanks Bob.
The hood ornament could be made in "clear" acrylic, which would allow you to drill a
tiny hole for a mini LED bulb, in order for the light to work.
For a first try, we decided that this would be even more involved than it already was,
so Bob decided not to have this one light up. Maybe if there is a next one !
As I've told Bob -, this is a stunning model!
