John, you mentioned this in a recent post so I just had to go and dig it up. ;D
A few years back, I acquired this cool Pinto body from John2 in a trade for something; I do not recall what. I remember thinking "He did such a great job with the decals, painting and hand-lettering, I just have to build under and around it."
I just happened to have a half can of Testor's blue spray so I was able to match a spare Slammer hood to the body. The rest came together very nicely if I do recall.
Of course once it was done I just had to surprise John and mail it to him. ;D

Yes sir!
A fine joint effort!
Very nice looking build you have there
Great looking build....!!
Nice and Clean...Great work from the both of you guys...
:) Thanks to all. My favorite part of building is to paint bodies, and then decal and try to hand letter them. I had done that just playing with the body, and had no other parts to a model. So, I sent it to Bill, he built it, and then sent it back.
As I recall, from a few years back, I then sent him in trade one of my modifieds. And if I can learn Flicker, which I hope is soon, I will find pictures of that one, and show you all.
That looks real sharp.
Great joint effort, fellas!
