:) Since Mike mentioned a community, I will add that I am actually 10 miles south of Pelahatchie in the Concord community. Pelahatchie is 20 miles east of Jackson, the Mississippi state capital, where I was born hmmm years ago.

Grew up in Hamptonville, just east of Marler and west of Brooks Crossroads, NC. Traveled quite a bit in the USAF for 21 years 2 months and 18 days, but then who is counting. Greg I spent my last three years in Midwest City at Tinker AFB. Have been back in Hamptonville since 1989, although I did do a short 12 year term as a United Methodist Minister and moved three times. As my name implies I am Tarheel born and Tarheel bred, and when I die I'll be Tarheel dead.
Hey Rick, I worked at Tinker from 1986 to 1992 at the air freight terminal, special handling. What unit were you in??? We were probably there at the same time. Good memories, too bad they closed air freight. gb

Canada eh. About an hour and a half north of Toronto. Far enough from the big lake that we get real winter.
Lakeport California, on the banks of the largest natural fresh water lake in the state. born here in 1949, left for four years, moved back, and have been here ever since.
Nearest hobby shop is about 120 miles round trip.

Who says that one cannot go back home again? I still have no regrets in moving back here.... sure there are things that I miss about being in a larger city or near a large metro area, but not enough to want to move back to such.....
