18degrees

This was a topic that i started on the old Randy's boards that seemed to be popular and well responded to.

After reading some back and forth about Razorback46's name and origin, i thought i would fire it up on here.

So what is the origin of your user name on here?

Mine comes from something that John Moses Browning figured out, the "perfect" angle for a handgun grip. The angle of the grip on a 1911 is 18 degrees.  ;)

Speedracer

I'd rip around in my mini-stock mustang during the trophy dash each week. The winners of the main events from the previous week would race each other for a trophy. Outrun everything with that little 4-banger, never lost a trophy dash. The announcer started playing the music from the Speedracer cartoon during the trophy dashes and it stuck. So, I'm Speedracer! 11 seasons and 11 championships

Razorback 46

"Slamming through, don't **** with razorback" is a line from Damage Inc. by Metallica off of their Master of Puppets album. And the 46 comes from Days of Thunder.

jh63fan

jh(Jimmy Hensley) 63(number used early career) fan.
Always liked him and got to be friends with him in the early 90's.
At Orange County one time, a certain driver cost him a win. I told Jimmy give me the word and I'll go whip his ---. His wife heard me and invited me to come visit them sometime. Been friends since then, built about 20 car models for him so far.

Volzfan59

Like my buddy Speedracer's momma, I'm a HUGE University of Tennessee Volunteer fan. Born in 1959. Volzfan59

 :) Very interesting topic.

Mine is very dull, but there is one I wish I'd used.

I used my full name on Fred's  -  John Gorday  -  and on Tom's just shortened to  John 2.

There is a story.  My nickname growing up was Buddy.  When I went to Alaska with the USAF, I managed to see a race in Anchorage, and there was a favorite driver there named Dirty Bud Borders.  Not that he was mean, but that he had once run off the track and into a stock pond, and came out covered with mud.

So, you see, I should have used " Dirty Bud."

Hot Wheels

I could not come up with anything....I liked Hot Wheels as a kid. I used this on Randy's site also.

TarheelRick

Born and raised in North Carolina, came back here after I retired from the USAF. During my career I lived in many interesting places. Only two I would consider other than Hamptonville, NC would be Sumter, SC and Knob Noster, MO (look it up). Also a huge UNC Tarheels fan and my name is Ricky, so TarheelRick is only natural.
When I win the Powerball I will switch to the real ones.
