Replica build of an early asphalt modified. This is a Tom Baldwin Chevy Coupe. Shortened the Ridge Runner Pinto frame rails, scratch built cage, frame, shocks, fuel cell, hood and interior sheet metal. Big Donkey wheels and hubs, air cleaner. PPP tires. Decals from NY Modifieds. Feels good to finish one, pretty happy with the results.

Brings back some great memories of the style racer used to see at "the MadHouse" when I was a 'bit' younger.  Very nice looking build, especially like the way you closed off the front of the hood.  Keep'em coming.
When I win the Powerball I will switch to the real ones.

The only things that give this racer away as a model, is its pristine condition. A light coat of dust, a little burned exhaust paint, and a believable background photo, and this would be very hard to pick out as a model. Very nice job.

Very nice.  Like that light shade of yellow.

That is a sweet one! Love all the old replica builds, especially the mods!
