Just saw the MPC Super Stocker GTO is scheduled for release first quarter of 2021. Also 72 Chevy Racers Wedge Hauler, I think late this year.

This is great news for anyone wanting to use this re-re-release kit to build a late model from the early to mid 70's era......  http://www.shorttrackmodels.com/index.php?topic=1040.0
The link above goes a bit more into detail on the Pontiac GTO Super Stocker kit....I bought an opened kit minus the body from Tom Birky just for the chassis.  The only thing Pontiac in this kit is the body and engine and the rest is simply awesome, even the generic chassis which would lend itself to either a Ford or Mopar late model build.

I have an earlier version of the Pontiac SS kit, still in the box.
It does have a much better chassis than the Modified Stocker kits.
As Brian stated, it would be a good chassis for a late model build.
I've grown weary of the old AMT Cup chassis & trying to make them fit.

For the cheap cost of the kits and the useless bodies (to me) that I can hack around on and try different techniques as throw-away mules, I still find the old AMT kits hard to beat. I have found it to be a chassis that can be modified in countless ways and upon which I can mount almost anything (even though perimeter chassis may not always be technically correct). Having said that, the Super Stocker kits have 180 degree headers and an interior to go along with them, and a handful of other "pre-made" items that are valuable for the builder.
I appreciate people that actually build and post models.
