:) Do any of you guys have one of the Revell snap kits released about 2015 that I could buy ?  Prefer the Ford, but the Chevy would be ok.

Might be a quick and easy build that an old guy like me could handle.

And I'd promise to make it into a real slick " coulda  been " short track late model.

Thanks.

I dont, but I'm going to a show this weekend. I'll keep my eyes open John. I built the Dale Jr Chevy ss and it looks nice out of the box.

:)  Thanks, Tom.  I'll settle up with you if you do.

I looked for one at the Memphis show in August, but did not find one.

I built one around that time, and used their paint job with my own hand lettering and number.  I picked out some things under the bottom with paint, and curled the window net  over the door.  It made a pretty nice model.

The pictures are probably on here somewhere.

We got that show here in Topeka in a couple of weeks...don't know how many vendors might be showing up.  If you come across something in the next couple of weeks say something.

Sorry John, no snap cup kits to be had. Interestingly, there was an Accurate Miniatures Taurus test shot in a baggie. It was missing the frame/floor, but everything else seemed to be there. That kit was never released. Very detailed, a step above the revell monogram kits for sure. He was asking $60!! Would have been worth it from a historical perspective if it was all there.

:)  No problem, Tom.  Thanks for looking.

I have a couple of things I can just stick together with glue.   It's almost as good as being serious about it.  lol

:)  Thanks, Pat, but I'll pass.  My plate is full these days with real life.

I'm piddling with a stock Dodge 330 late model.  I'm not even up to building a roll cage for it.  It's not going any further than my shelf anyway.

:)Brian   --   I guess you did not find a snap kit cup car at the show you went to.  Sounds like it was mostly military anyway.

I'd still like to have one if anyone has one they'd like to let go of.

Glad you scored one....there was one NASCAR snap kit at the show but I passed one it....contents where still sealed, but kind of leery of what condition possibly they would be in due to storage conditions the last couple of years.....warpage????
