Hey all.

Posting my Lumina rework that I begin in Randy's site back in February I think it was.

The front fender, it's lower lip was removed and slots were made into the front wheel arches. So to pull down the fender, as this Kellogg's kit nose points upwards and looks clunky.

The body sides were pulled outwards so to make them more vertical, but not slab. There is still a curve.
And below, how I begin. Making slits and bending outwards the body. Twice on drive side, but just once on pass side.

And the nose and fender mods.

Can see the arch slits. I had to glue card inside the arches to strengthen.

And the now wider body. See how thicker the edges are.
I eventually glued card on top of the joins, as the constant sanding was giving a very uneven result.

The edges are now 74 mm wide.

So, fiddly monotonous work sometimes, but can be done. With plastic card over the joins, just under the character line, the job then went much quicker.

And the sides, after all that work.

Nice work! Looking forward to seeing more progress on it.

Really showing great attention to the fine details that make for a great build. Keep up the nice work.

Coming along nicely, VDC. Like that you are striving for the correct look on this one. I can already tell it will be an outstanding build.

VDC, That is some impressive body work you're doing. Thank you for taking us along for the ride with you.

Thanks to everyone.

These body mods, I always want to try something different.
I have 15 T-Bird's to build too, so am changing up sills and other bits just for some variety.
