This kit has arrived. I will model it as the box shows, his 1998 Vegas win-inaugural first race of Vegas track. I do need to find a left side exhaust as the kit has a right-left exhaust exit which is wrong for Mark's Roush rides.

This also arrived but I have too many projects started to even attempt starting this, later this year I hope.

Sweet!! Pretty sure he drove JR51 in that race which was his favorite chassis.

For the exhaust tubes, check with Jaye's Model Garage. Lots of neat, quality stuff for the Monogram/Revell Nascar kits.

I will second this motion. He has great exhaust and does make a dual left side exit exhaust that should fit this kit.

Thanks for the exhaust suggestions gents. I saw the you tube video of the young guy that rebuilt JR51 and Mark drove it a couple years ago in Vegas. Real good video for a modeler!

I have a little work done on the chassis. I won't go much further as I want to replace the bogus exhaust, dash board and shifter. I saw some good replacements at that Jaye's site, thanks for the info about that site.

if you are planning on using one of Jaye's dashboards, and it shows tach button detail and you are using decals that don't have a cut out for that part, you can ask him to leave the tach detail off.  he may be able to, he may tell you not this time, depends on whether he already has the item printed. just a suggestion.
