Agree. Computer graphics have gone to far on the current NASCAR look.

A Pearson Charger is in the planning stages for me. What did you use for the chassis and roll cage?   Thanks

Most all early late models and grand nationals I like to use the chassis from the Monogram
NASCAR kits.Roll cage out of .080 Evergreen rod. Easy to bend and shape and make fit well.
Difficult part is getting period correct tires to fit the wheel wells. Lots of flaring and trimming
that doesn't show up in pictures, which is really good because for sure you want the body to
maintain that "stock" appearance.

Died 40 years ago this month...
Why the "purple" Dodge Charger?
Was a big Fireball Roberts fan. Even named his son Glen after Fireball.
