A replica of a car that I remember watching as a kid. The new Chevelle body did not capture the imagination of short trackers like the earlier ones as the move to Camaros was underway and the Chevelle was pretty big. Max had this one the first year and ran it for a couple of years. I liked that it was different and the asymmetric sponsor name painted on the side just appealed to me. This was built from the Model King Chevelle kit that was a reissue from the old AMT Grand National Chevelle Laguna/Malibu. I added Super Stocker tires, some PPP slotted wheels, lowered it some and added my own decals.

:)  Very nice, Stats.  I like the  lettering also, and the colors going with the  white.

In the deep south, we did not have many of the " big " cars racing  either.  The Camaros were the hot set up.
