:) I forgot and left the water running in the bathroom this morning, and later found a small flood.  I have sopped and mopped as best I could but will have to have someone come and dry the carpet out.

Only one wall between the bathroom, and my computer with all the wires on the floor, and since I cannot tell how far the water has/will run under the carpet, I think I better take this down and get all the wires up, and put away somewhere dry.

So, y'all have fun, and I will be back when I can.   :( :( :(

:)  On my brother's computer. Still drying the carpet.  Back whenever. :-[

Try to get everything dried as quickly and as thoroughly as possible, John. You don't want to end up with black mold. That stuff is bad for your health.

:)  Thanks, Bill.  I have a church friend in the carpet cleaning business, so he came quickly with his high tech equipment, plus we have been running a fan, and dehumidifier all week.  We believe I am ok now.

Been moving my stuff back in this afternoon, and will try to hook my computer back up tomorrow or Monday.

Note to old folks :   Pay attention to what you are doing.  I made a $300 mistake.

:)  Ok, I have survived.   My personal flood.  No where near the incredibly bad situation in  Texas and Louisiana.  My heart goes out to all affected.  Prayers for everyone.

Got this computer hooked back up correctly  just a little while ago.  Imagine that.

Thanks to some notes and drawings I made of what goes where.

Did  get some work done on my Ford dually during the down time.
