The start of a replica build from the late 50s & early 60s.  The only original '34 Ford kit parts used here are the body, bare chassis, and dashboard.  All other pieces were parts-box pieces and scratch-built.  Engine from '40 Ford kit, radiator core and rear bumper are balsa wood.  Models like this seem really simple but as I found out they are still pretty time consuming, but fun!

Looking very good so far. I love replica's so I can't wait to see more.

I'm also anxious to see the finished build and the real car photo.

Where did you get the 34 model kit?

Bob P. - I bought the kit several years ago at a garage sale....wish they would have had more - "woulda" grabbed those also.

This is really looking good Bob. No my friend...Replicas are not the easiest thing to build..and your doing a great job too. I've also got at least 5 more of them to do...in my life time that is...LOL
