 :)  Well, thanks again to J2 for helping me out with the  post.  I am not going to bother him too many more times. 

Probably my favorite airplane of all time.  Boeing Stearman PT-17 Kaydet.   WW 2 trainer, and in later life  crop duster, and air show performer.  Big gas guzzling radial engine, and very, very loud. 

This is the Revell Air Show kit, and will be my final plastic aircraft model.  1/43 scale is just too small for me.  Built it just as the kit had it, but did not use their air show decals, as I just did not care for either one.  This one is probably owned and flown by some one who would do a loop, or a roll, but is not an air show performer.

Cool one John2.....

Was into model planes at one time.....late '60's (just glued 'em together and slapped on decals..no paint)
When I couldn't find model cars in the early to mid 1970's, got back into model airplanes, mostly those of WWII vintage....
did both 1/72 and 1/48....
None of these survived my various moves that started in 1981...
