Very cool! Love this era of race cars.

sentsat71

that era of race car was a bit before my time at following races, though still have a couple of magazines floating around that were from 1964....just cant remember the name of them at the moment, the magazine covered quite a bit of racing, not just stock cars.....(didn't see my 1st short track race in either 1965 or 1966, and was immediately hooked!)

So, yeah, it is quite neat to see builds of these cars in their more "stock" race car trim....

and as usual, Slim, another great job on building this replica!!!!!

Hi Slim,

My name is Lee Trainor my family owned Zecol Lubaid.  I would love to add your model car of Don White to my collection.  Is it for sale?  I also saw Zecol Lubaid cars of Joe Leonard, A J Foyt, Dick Hutcherson and Eddie Sachs. on the net.  Are these cars yours?  If not do you know who's they might be and how I could get a hold of the people who made them.  I have a model car of Norm Nelson but I don't know who did it.

INCREDIBLE work man! Every time I think about building something really KOOL, you beat me to it. I have had a set of Don White decals stashed for a long time and now you have awakened the lazy I'm gonna build that one day thought, You did a beautiful job sir. Keep 'em coming.
