Holy cow! That's way cool! Nice scratch building. That'll be an impressive rig when done. Keep us updated.

Sweet, looking for more updates.  Did you do a WIP on the truck?
When I win the Powerball I will switch to the real ones.

Thanks for the comments fellows.............I didn't do a WIP, I took a few photos along the way but never had the time to make an organized effort like some of you guys do.

The build includes the AMT Pepsi C-600 box, AMT 352 Peterbilt for the chassis, resin Dodge LS-1000 cab from AITRUCKMODELS.com., Olds is the Salvinos kit and the trailer is form the Revell Chevy Van and trailer kit. Greg Holland provided the decals and he is so good to work with. He is still tweaking a few things on the cab a car. Truck wheels came from moluminum.com

It's been an off and on project for 3 months, the box was tubbed to sit down around the rear tires, chassis had a ton of changes to exhaust, battery box fuel tanks and spare tire location. The front of the chassis was changed to fit the resin cab to it and get it to tilt properly. Scratch built the rear steps and storage boxes around the rear of the box and a set of side steps for the side door. The original box had no side door, but I wanted to finish the build before summer so I used the door.

The car is pretty much stock but I added the resin bumpers and tried my hand at spraying the chrome for those and some of the cab resin parts.

My plan is to leave the roof off the box and add some items inside, but I hope to have the outside done in the next 2 weeks.

Thanks for looking

It is great.

I love haulers, flat nosed trucks, and racers with simple paint,  so you know it is a winner all around with me.
