Legendary racer/car builder Ed Howe's Chevelle replica from 1971 season. Tried to weather it as this ride was never pretty. GTO super stocker chassis, Big Donkey tires and rims, Mike G did the decals. Thanks for looking!

:)  You did 2 good jobs.  One to build it, and one to mess it up.

I got to see Ed and his buddy Tom Maier race a couple of times.

With a cleverly engineered background it would be hard to pick this car out as a model. Very nicely done.

Beautiful job. I just love the dings, tire scrapes and the rest of the wear and tear. Now thats' reality. The only shiny race cars I saw, many moons back, were those on parade day before the season started. A few laps around the track in competition and they had  scars as this one shows.

Another classic ARCA Guy build, well done! A couple of questions: What was Ed doing with the front windshield? Can't see it real well but it looks like brackets of some sort. Any tips on your experience with creating the dents, etc?
I appreciate people that actually build and post models.

....The weathering, dents, scrapes etc. really add to the appeal of this build.....not the easiest to thing to pull off.
