One of the better known "mods" that once terrorized Maine race tracks. This is early in the evolution of mods from their jalopy ancestors. Ralph Cusack won 12 season championships on the Beech Ridge track, more than any other man in the history of the track. Several with this car. The "Blue Deuce" came by it's name honestly. 32 Deuce 5w coupe on original frame, Chevy motor.

The original car. Even in this grainy photo you can tell it is sitting on a 32 Ford "Deuce" frame. Has the chevy motor with shorty exhaust stacks, like many in the early years.

This  photo is of a full sized reproduction that was built in 2009. Simply a stunning example, even in the photo. Must be something to stand next to it. If one wanted to build a model of the car, most everything needed is seen in this photo. Ram's horn manifolds as the 283 Chevy used for many year. Ford transverse spring in front and parallel springs in rear.
