:) I am making a little progress on my modified.  I'm not very knowledgeable on these cars but they are the only NASCAR racers I am interested in anymore. I've never seen these cars race in person.

None of the parts are named and the drawings can get quite confusing.

On step 8  ( the Knowlden 4 kit )  what are parts B26 and B27, and where do they fit ?  I am assuming they are pads to protect the driver's head.  Perhaps they go on the roll cage, or top of the seat.

I may just leave them off, since you cannot see much in there anyway after the thing gets finished.

Thanks for any help.   :)

I wish i could help John, but I don't have one to look at. I'm sure whatever you do will look fine!

:) Thanks, Tom.  Not life or death at this point.

John - I believe those two pieces are leg supports. They should attach to the lower front portion of the seat on both sides. They are designed to keep the lower extremities from lateral movement when cornering and/or the event of a crash. Not a lot of room between the left side of the seat and the roll cage for this to fit. Instruction sheet is confusing. Plus I think they should be glued to the seat prior to mounting it down low in the chassis, but Salvino's didn't ask me when they wrote the directions :)

:)  Ha ha.  Thanks so much.

That makes sense.  My seat is already in.  I'll fit them in, if I can.  If not, I won't worry about them.

Thanks again.

:)  Actually, I had already cut away part of the right side the seat with my Dremel , to let it fit down in there.  So, I'll skip  those 2 parts.
