Don't believe I've seen that one before. Really nice job. Very striking livery.

Too bad Earnhart didn't stay in the Ford camp. Just thinking of the possibilities of an Earnhart, Yates partnership sends chills up my spine. Now back to this model. Beautiful work. Nice crisp paint separation or is that blue stripe a decal. Either way this is one beautiful build - wouldn't expect anything less from your bench. BTW, which kit did you use for the body?
When I win the Powerball I will switch to the real ones.

Rick, its the Starsky and Hutch kit for the body and I paired it with an old MPC kit from the seventy's I found in a paper bag that had fallen apart over the years. I believe I kept the engine from the Starsky and Hutch kit an made it look like a 351 Cleveland which is what they raced back then. I had to scratch build the intake manifold too.

Oh, and all the decals on the model I created on my computer and printed them on my ink jet printer. I could not find a decal sheet made by a professional decal maker for this car.

Excellent work Mark!  Great fabrication work turning the model into a race car.  I had not seen that livery before.

Thanks, Jim. I really appreciate the kind words.
