Here's another build from about 10 years ago. A replica of the car that Casey Mears drove in the Banquet 400 at Kansas Speedway in October of 2004.Its the Revell Dodge Intrepid NASCAR kit.The paint and clear is all Tamiya. The decals are JWTBM.I modified the front end to match the downforce nose the real car ran at that race.I lowered it and detailed the interior.I moved the exhaust to the passenger side. This car was built for my best friend that was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer but passed a few years ago and it was also built in memory for a family member who also died from stage 4 breast cancer. My best friend was really excited when I built the car for her. When she passed away, her family gave me the car back. Its my favorite car in my collection.Thank for looking.

Another Awesome build from 10 years ago. I'm sorry to hear about your best friend. I'm glad you have the build back to remember her by it. All the extra work you put into it really adds to the realism of the build.

Great job on this car, it really jumps off of the screen. Like Mark said, my condolences on the loss of your family member and your best friend. Been there, done that......it sucks. I thank you for posting this and for the backstory.
