Saw Kenny Schrader race last night.

He made an appearance at the Jackson, MN half mile track last night with his #9 Federated modified. He won his heat race, which was a heated battle with one of the local stars, but good hard clean racing. In the main, after the top twelve redrew for starting positions, He drew the 9th starting position for the 20 lap main. Started moving forward, then around halfway thru, he suddenly started slowing on the back stretch, kept up partial speed until he could exit the track at turn one.
Also on the program were IMCA Hobby Stocks, Sport Mods, 305 winged sprints. Can't remember what group the 360's winged sprints ran under. I know the 305's run "fixed" wings, no driver adjustments during the race, and it looked the same for the 360's
Saw the 305's run last year, and they put a great show for winged sprints and so did the 360's last night.  To the point, I wouldn't mind seeing them run again, but doubt it will happen this year.
The A Modifieds and 360 sprints had over 20 cars each.

All in all it was good night.

Sounds like a good time! Always fun to see a big name show up. Just got home from Benton County Speedway. Saw Bob Dixon...too loud to really chat.
