Williams Grove speedway heat race 1962 recreated in models

The first photo is the start of a heat race, late in the 1962 season, at the Williams Grove speedway in Pa.
This would have been the 3rd heat with the cars highest in the point standings.

This picture was posted on the Williams Grove web site, racing in the past section, trying to identify the driver of the number 1 starting on the pole of this heat. The new number 1 was starting in the rear. No one has come up with the answer.

The starting line up #1 ?? #2 Bobby Able #6 Toby Tobias #39 Bobby Hersh #77 Leroy Felty #1 Johnny Mackison.

My friend Bill and I were looking at this photo one day and we realized, that between the two of us, we had models of all these cars.

Starting from the front Bill built the number 2, 1 and 6. I built the numbers 39, 77 and 1. The pitures were taken on Bill's diorama.
