This is a 1/24th scale replica of the Palmer Special driven by Hal Browning.
This car raced in central Pa. and Md. from 1968 thru 1970.
I was able to get a lot of detailed information for this build from the car owners son. This was a big help in getting the details correct.
It was like most cars that raced during this period, it got repainted and lettered several times per year.

This build was also posted in the Fab shop under construction topic on this forum.

Man Bob...you really did a GREAT job on this Super modified. The sit and over all look is dead on with the pics you posted. Outstanding fab work!

Really super job on this build Bob. I keep thinking you've outdone yourself and then the next build comes along and you've "outdone youself" again!! Terrific work!
