Bob P.

I finally got this build completed.

This is the Kreitz racing number 69K driven by Lance Dewease and wrenched by legendary crew chief Davy Brown.
Thanks to all who followed this build in the under construction section.

I want to thank everyone on the forum that offered help and suggestions on this build.
A big thank you to Greg Holland for his many hours spent creating a fantastic set of decals for this build.
Thanks to Justin at SWS chassis for providing the modern sprint car chassis and body panels.

Thanks David,

I really enjoyed working on this one. It's good to do something a little different once in awhile.
I also learned some new techniques on this build, thanks to you and Greg Holland.
I have the hauler on the bench now, that may really test my skills.

Wow Bob! That looks so real. Great work!

Bob P.

Thanks for the nice comments guys. I think Greg deserves a big percentage of the credit for this build.
Just picture this without the decals and you don't have much.

That really came out looking GREAT Bob. You sure captured the look of those fire breathing 410s...and specially a replica. Very good job...

This is one of the most outstanding Sprint Car builds that I have seen in a long, long time. :)

Thanks for sharing the link and everything else about SWS chassis ...I was looking for a source for a roof wing for an on again, off again early 80's dirt Late Model and it looks like they have exactly what I need.

Awesome build and outstanding detail work!

Very nicely done model, Bob. I hope you enjoy applying decals! Two thumbs up!

Bob P.

Marty,

That model did require a lot of decal work. I had to put down a white layer first and then apply the color layer.
Greg Holland did a fantastic job on the decals. Check out the hauler under the Haulers category.
