One reason I like this paint scheme, just one color with the decals making it really stand out.!

Thanks, Ed. The main reason I picked one color for this fantasy build is because I'm not very good at two tone paint or hopefully never have to attack a 3 tone paint scheme. I'm tape challenged.

 :)  Tape challenged.  That's a scream.   ;D

Yes, I fear the tape. It doesn't like me.

One reason I won't "tackle" any Petty STP cars of the 70's......LOL
IF it is a simple 2 tone, might try it.......Like a Bobby Allison Coke car.....to name one paint scheme (Actually did the early 70's Monte Carlo AMT issued kit waaaaaaaay back when).....

Thanks, ARCA guy. It was my first fantasy build.

That's what makes fantasy builds so neat. No way you can mess one up........!     :)

You can still mess it up, but the rivet counters can't tell you that you got the color wrong, or the sponsors wrong, or  the font of the numbers wrong, etc. etc. Be a good one to post at randy ayers. But that's never going to happen.

....I don't fallow the ARCA series as close as I used to....with that being said, if you had left the Phil N. Blank part out I would have thought that this was another car competing in the ARCA series! ;D
Makes me want to try a fantasy build along these lines, but with all of the snack food I devour, it would take something along the lines of a tractor/trailer build to get everyone on.
Every time I have visited this post, it grows on me a little more.
The only heroes in Washington are buried just outside of it in Arlington

You should try one. They are really easy to build. They are suppose to be snap kits, but I still glue them. I have one left over chevy kit and I'm thinking maybe Shiner Bock, my wife's favorite beer. I used a fake name and found a number nobody uses because I was afraid of possibly making some one in ARCA mad.
