This is a replica build of the Nolan Swift 10 Pins. This is the 1964 version.

The reason for my interest in this car is in 1964, prior to the start of the racing season at Oswego, they brought this car to Port Royal speedway in Port Royal Pa. to compete on dirt.
Nolan won one feature event before returning to Oswego for there season opening.

That car had to be a handful to drive! Nolan might as well just strapped himself to the transmission and put the hammer down! This is another sterling example of your skills Bob and it is also an example of those "better" days when men could experiment and build cars that were unique and sometimes ground breaking! A terrific car; a terrific driver; a terrific scale model builder!
I appreciate people that actually build and post models.

Bob...what an excellent job on this replica build.

Another cool replica Bob. Not much protecting the driver from the elements there! Nice work. It would be cool to see a few of your modifieds all staged in one pic.

:)  Very nice, Bob, as usual.  Yes, Tom, it is hard to believe they raced with such wide open cockpits.  Racing, although still  not 100 % is much safer these days.  Long time coming.

That's another winner from you, Bob! I really appreciate seeing unusual builds like this, that are not modeled that often. It doesn't look like he had much protection in that thing. Nice work!
