Started 11 years ago, this one gave me fit and stance issues that prompted me to put it down. I glued and painted it, then cut it all apart trying to make it look better. Over a decade later I was inspired to try it again. I am relatively happy with the results. Made new spindles to get the nose down, located and assembled all the parts, and finished the details. I replaced the puny 6 cylinder looking motor with a nicer one from the Polar lights 74 Dodge kit, the 360 small block. I am building another one as we speak to see if I can't improve on this one. Hope you like them!

Great looking build you have Slim.  I have a couple of these kits but have been reluctant to even try to build one OOB as the instructions appear intimidating.  What shade of blue is the car painted.  That color looks like it would look good on a street rod.

I appreciate the comments, guys! Old Ford, that paint was Plasti Cote Blur Lagoon, an enamel, sold in small cans at Walmart years ago. Long gone now!

I'm like Fordguy, I have a couple of these but I don't think my skills are up to the changes needed to make it look right?

Great job Slim. I sure like that blue....on the screen it kinda looks close to a petty blue to me...
