Just finished the number 66.

Decals by Greg Holland
Tires, wheels , seat, and fuel injection by Big Donkey resin.
Sidewinder built using two highly modified sprint car frames.
All body panels and wing made from thin aluminum sheets.

1966 version with a big block Ford engine.

My build is a later version with a small block Chevy engine and different wheels.

Thanks for looking. This build was fun, but also a little challenging, glad it's done.

Wow, that is an awesome looking replica!  I just went and re-looked at the build thread to pick up a few of your tricks.  Now I'm motivated to get back to a couple of modifieds I've started that are collecting dust on my bench.  Just an all-around excellent job on this!!

Excellent work on a beautiful racer.  I admire your ability to bend metal with what looks like so little effort.

Thanks for the nice comment from all of you, I'm still having fun building these replica's.

I hope this inspires some of you, to give the aluminum a try, on some part on a future build.

I have to give this one another 11. You really nailed the look of his car. Can I have it when you get tired of looking at it??

Thanks again for the nice comments, they mean a lot coming from this group of highly skilled builders.
