1. Kit- ANY '34 Ford pickup or other '34 Ford truck kit.

2. Build Time - January 1, 2020 though March 31, 2020

3. Modifications - Unlimited so long as you start with and use a majority of kit components. You can combine kits, scratch build additional features and add resin parts, including different wheels and tires. I just have to easily recognize the '34 Ford kit in there somewhere (my eyes-my rules. If in doubt, PM me)

4. Build Number- You can build one kit or enter as many as you want.

5. Postings - Please post your progress in your own thread and also post the completed build in the separate tab that I will create.

6. Main Rule - Have fun and build a model!!

I appreciate people that actually build and post models.

I'm ready. Can I start now? Can I at least chop the top? Are we there yet? Am I being a nuisance yet?

For all of you who may have time off during the Holidays, my little gift to you is that we can begin the '34 Ford Truck CBP Build NOW!

I was joking around, but hey, I will take that! I'm a slow builder, anyway.

Not 100% recovered yet but I did feel well enough to dump all the parts on the bench.  I have an idea but that is as far as I got, maybe have some pics later.

Dang I missed the green flag!  Feel like I'm 2 laps down to the field.  At least it's a long race so I've got time to catch up :)

I hope to open the box this afternoon (don't want to watch the Panthers get slaughtered by the Saints 3rd string).  If all goes well could possibly spray some red oxide primer on the whole thing.
When I win the Powerball I will switch to the real ones.

Never paid much attention to community builds but noticed the '34 pickup because I just happen to be building one. Ok if I started it earlier than the official start time? Won't be able to post in progress pics because it's close to being done.

TonyK

Almost done. It is one of my winter projects. Doing the tow truck version because the paint job doesn't have to be nice and I always try to plan out things I can do in the garage during the cold months.

I don't know how your community builds go so I don't have a problem if my project doesn't fit the rules. The '34 pickup subject caught my attention is all. I will be following everyone's build as this kit is fun and I just may do another if someone does something to give me ideas.

One idea I had, that I will not be doing, is a NASCAR truck street rod theme.

I am for that, David.  Tony K has been with us a long time.

I agree. The more models in the mix, the better.

Anne and I are starting ours today.

I have taken Scale Auto Magazine off and on for years.  She saw an old copy, wanted a subscription, and the first one came yesterday.  She has gone crazy about it.  She has a Volkswagen about ready to show you guys.

And now back to regular programming.
