This is a replica of the Emrich Chevrolet number 1 driven by Lynn Paxton.
The mechanic on the car was Ree Smith, father to current sprint car drive Mark Smith.
Chassis was built by Kenny Weld.

I'm using an Edmonds kit for this build.
Frame lengthened with round aluminum tubing.
Edmonds hood lengthened and widened.
Open areas in hood  filled in with CA glue and baking soda.

I hope you enjoy looking at this one.

Liking this one a lot Bob. Cool front suspension modification to the kit frame. Looking forward to seeing it with the decals on.

Another beauty there Bob! Keep up the good work!

Yes, another beauty.  The tail tank is of interest to me.  Unusual.  Rounded like a sprinter, yet flat on top.  Great job, Bob.
