Hi every body.I am going to be painting some parts with acrylic paint. My wife is a crafter and has hundreds of paints and a lot of colore. So how much do i reduce it to go thru a gravity air brush and are you using water or something else?

Olderndirt

Thin it down to about the consistency of milk. I'd practice with paint just thinned with water.

I have had respectable (to me!) results using the inexpensive Apple Barrel or Craftsmart acrylic paint. I thin with distilled water to the milk consistency that Olderndirt recommended, then add Tamiya x-20 until it's a skim milk consistency. This coupe was painted with this type of paint.

What about craft paints from Wal-Mart?
or even craft paints from Hobby Lobby? Like Deco Art, Anita's all purpose, or Folk Art?
One of the 2 plastic bottles from Deco Art has "sucked in, on 3 sides.....neve been opened...
