Got this one done after 3 months. Amt kit purchased at Walmart. 145 hours. It's one of those sealed hood models with molded in seats and exhaust so lots of cutting and adding is required. I also tried to change the automatic transmission underneath to look like a manual trnasmission. I have always liked the look of the 64 Ford, so I bought 2 more of the kits. This is the car That Ned won the Dixie 400 in that year.

Very nicely done, as are all of your NASCAR builds.  Even though in '64 I was a strong Chevrolet fan, I did enjoy watching Ned Jarrett race.
When I win the Powerball I will switch to the real ones.

....Another outstanding build and really enjoyed reading the W.I.P and its related history.

Great looking Galaxie Mark. Always liked Ned, seemed like a really nice guy.

I agree completely with you Steve about Ned Jarrett. He was a great driver and person as well. My only beef with him is he told on Rex White for fudging the rules on his 61 Chevy entry for the Southern 500 that year. His car was disqualified before the race and Rex had to drive Jack Smith's Pontiac for the 500. I think Rex had a car that could have won that race if it had not been disqualified.
