I just finished this Lou Lazzaro Sportsman car from around '60-'61. I started with an MPC Ridge Runner frame, a '37 Chevy resin body from Mike's Decals, and brakes, wheels and tires from Ron Coon Resins.  I built the cage from plastic tube, all of the front springs and axle are from sheet plastic. Bumpers and nerf bars are made from more plastic tube and square stock.  Decals are from Polecat Decals. Kinda sorry it is done, it was fun to work on!

Very nicely done! My kind of "Old School" Modified. Great skills and excellent build. P.S. Love to know where you got the driver figure.

Thanks!  That driver figure came from Speed City Resin.

Great job on this replica build.

Don't know how I missed this one. That is a real beauty, takes me back to my youth when the modified coupes ran at Bowman Gray. Very well built and some excellent detail work.
"Kinda sorry it is done, it was fun to work on!" All you have to do is start building another one and the fun will return.
When I win the Powerball I will switch to the real ones.
