Rattlecan Dan

I agree with all the worthy compliments. Nice crisp details. Doing a beautiful job.

some more updates, got the trunk all done... parts from Jaye - fuel cell, fuel filler, fuel overflow tube, fuel filter.  one fitting and fuel filter lines from RBMotion.

Oberg filter (partially obscured by cowl) and shocks from Jaye, fittings from RBMotion, lines from Detail Master.

exhaust and shocks by Jaye.  driveshaft hoop is a piece of strip.

just have to finish the windows, add a few decals and an antenna, and figure out the fit of the piece of metal that covers the top of the radiator.  hopefully will have the finished product in the showroom soon.

What type of paint did you use for the chassis? I like the gloss level, looks realistic.

It's Krylon fire red, it's actually a matte finish. I prefer to use flat colors for chassis and cage, they seem to cover better and fill the nooks and crannies better. And the gloss isn't important to me on the chassis since it's covered by the body.
