:(   Don't believe I have seen anyone here mention this subject.

Do y'all, especially those with large collections of built models, have some that have gotten broken ?  We all know how fragile they are.

I move mine around from time to time to look at some of the older ones for a while, or to see what I did on certain ones.  And they break just handling them, or sometimes I drop one.

The point is, do you try to fix them?  I used to, but now that I am old and tired, and busier than I want to be, I just tend to lay the parts next to them, and go on.

Just wondering.

Most of my builds are based on Monogram Nascar kits, so they seem to hold together pretty well. I do have a tendency to reinforce things pretty good since a lot of finished kits go to friends.

So far most of mine have held together pretty well, although I do have a Tamiya Mercedes SLK with a right front tire lying beside it.
When I win the Powerball I will switch to the real ones.

I try and build my models very sturdy since I have an attitude that once they're done I won't have to mess with them again.

Many, many years ago I was taking pictures of a model on the roof of my car to take advantage of the background and a gust of wind blew it off onto the grass. I did repair it eventually.
