Painting tires

I never have messed with 3D printed or resin tires before, until now. What do you paint them with color wise and brand. I intend to use decals for the lettering.   Thanks

I use Rustoleum 2X flat black primer without any issues

I've had good success with Tamiya Rubber Black.

Yes, it comes in a spray can Tamiya 85082 TS-82 Rubber Black Lacquer Spray Paint 100ml
The only heroes in Washington are buried just outside of it in Arlington

...I have been using rubber Black brushed on tires from a bottle as well as on engine belts and hoses with great results.  I first apply a thin coat of a either matte or flat Black then the rubber Black.  It can also be used to  high light the rubber strips found on doors, trunk lids and window seals if visible on the build.
